Arbitration, a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), is a technique for the resolution of disputes outside the courts. The parties to a dispute refer it to arbitration by one or more persons, the arbitrators, and agree to be bound by the arbitration decision the award. A third party reviews the evidence in the case and imposes a decision that is legally binding on both sides and enforceable in the courts.

The Act is applicable when: • Government acquires land for its own use, hold and control, including land for Public sector undertakings. • Government acquires land with the ultimate purpose to transfer it for the use of private companies for stated public purpose. The purpose of LARR 2011 includes public-private-partnership projects, but excludes land acquired for state or national highway projects. • Government acquires land for immediate and declared use by private companies for public purpose. Mediation

Mediation is a process in which disputing parties attempt to resolve their disagreements with the help of an impartial, trained neutral third party i.e. the Mediator/Conciliator.
The mediator does not pass judgment but help the parties open communication, identify their differences and reach agreement on how to resolve them. A conciliator has a greater role than a Mediator. He make proposal, formulates and reformulates the terms of possible settlement.
Our firm conducts facilitative mediations/conciliations in civil and commercial disputes. We also draft the final written agreement which outlines the terms of the settlement. Once the agreement is signed, parties are legally bound to abide by its terms.
